Research and Consultancy

The Research and Consultancy Unit aims to provide high quality research and consultancy in a wide range of areas to meet the needs of different stakeholders in education, business, development, IT and related areas, and to contribute to improving provision of education in its widest sense.

Drawing on the extensive expertise of a research-led institution combined with the commitment to practitioner relevance, staff at MMU offer consultancies locally in Tanzania and in countries across the region.

Consultancy is seen as a major form of knowledge transfer and the Research and Consultancy Unit is committed to disseminating the outcomes of research and to making this useful and relevant to a wide audience. Practice-based consultancy is equally valued.

Consultancies range from one day initiatives such as in-service training or other forms of professional development, or work with organisations on organisational functioning and change, or management and leadership, to longer term consultancies which might involve work with local authorities, the government, or international organisations. We invite you to share in our research mission.
